Business Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2

This Apprenticeship prepares you for working in business environments, teaching you about systems, processes and communication. Careers in business administration are responsible and professional, and this course helps you build productive working relationships and organisationalskills. You’ll need to be well-presented, happy to mix with different people and have lots of energy.

Punctuality and excellent attendance are necessary as are commitment and good communication skills.

Typical length:
12 months

Entry requirements:
At least 16 years of age

Qualifications:
Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights

Topics include:
Communications in business; providing administrative services; business documents and information management; understanding employer organisations; managing personal performance and development; developing working relationships. Optional topics include: managing diaries; telephone and voicemail; reception services; finance; presentations; marketing; using software

Key facts:
Students are employed in a local business throughout their Apprenticeship
Many students are kept on by the business after they complete their training
Students can progress to Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3
