Hairdressing Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3

This course is the natural progression route from the intermediate apprenticeship or Level 2 Diploma in hairdressing. Building on your existing knowledge, it provides the skills necessary to become a senior stylist, using a variety of different techniques.

Typical length:
12 – 18 months

Entry requirements:
At least 16 years of age, Level 2 hairdressing qualification

Qualifications: 
Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing
Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights

Topics include:
Creatively style and dress hair; creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques; creatively colour and lighten hair; provide client consultation services.

Key facts:
Students are employed in a professional salon throughout their Apprenticeship
Many students are kept on by the salon after they complete their training

This course can be funded by the Government, depending on eligibility. Otherwise, the course can be funded through an Adult Learning Loan, or paid for privately. Ask one of our advisors for full details of funding available.
