Traineeships

A traineeship is a flexible education and training programme with work experience for individuals who aren’t ready to go onto an Apprenticeship. It provides the opportunity to gain real work experience and job skills, while improving English and maths skills if needed. The course is tailored to each student’s career needs.

Typical length:
6 weeks to 6 months

Entry requirements: Aged 16 to 24 with little or no work experience; qualified below than level 3 Course includes: Training in work skills; maths and English if necessary; and a work placement in the student’s choice of industry: business administration, childcare, hairdressing
