Lin Hankinson has worked in Mental Health for 35 years. After her initial training, she worked as a Counsellor in the Psychology department of a local NHS mental health service. Lin is passionate about lifelong learning & development and has gone on to train as a Hypnotherapist and NLP Life Coach. She currently works with individuals and businesses to help them deal with the challenges in life, find their ‘happy’ and fulfill their true potential.

After having her 3 children, Lin resumed her education at Liverpool Hope University, and completed a degree in Psychology & Sociology, and was offered a post as a Social Researcher and Lecturer.

Lin has worked with diverse communities, including people with addictions, experiences of childhood abuse, domestic violence and people with severe and enduring mental health problems.

Lin believes that it’s not what happens to us in life but how we deal with the situation that is life changing. She is passionate about working with people to navigate through or around life’s difficulties; helping them to develop the necessary tools to build the resilience that will continue to support them throughout life.

Although a proud scouser, Lin now lives by the beach in New Brighton with her partner, 2 cats and her pooch Bella; who she walks on the beach; their happy place, every day.
