Sandra Scott


Sandra Scott is a highly experienced linguist and modern foreign language trainer who has taught people aged 3 to 87 to speak foreign languages.

Sandra has worked in Primary, Secondary and Further Education. She completed her secondary school teaching career as head of department and SENCo in an Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Merseyside.

Sandra has held key positions in education such as Director of Special Education Needs and Disability and business development at the ADHD Foundation, here in Liverpool. She has trained teachers nationally, given key note speeches at conferences and training events, lectured at Hope University and LJMU to PGCE learners about ADHD, Autism, Neurodiversity and Managing Challenging Behaviour.

As an adult and qualified teacher Sandra discovered that she had ADHD. She is an exceptional entrepreneur and runs a highly successful language training company called ‘Chataway’. She is Co-director of a fitness company for children that teaches languages called ‘Chatafit’ and Co-Director of an Interactive Education Company ‘IP Presents’. Sandra’s motto is “Anyone can learn a language!”

Sandra has 23 year old son, lives in Liverpool and is passionate about inclusion and facilitating success. Her hobbies include, cooking, gardening, theatre, cinema and travel. Sandra loves her work and said “If I won the lottery I would still do what I do just a bit less”.
