We have a vacancy for a business administration apprenticeship at the offices of Plus Group in Liverpool City Centre.

In particular this is an administrative position for a company that provides paraplanning and virtual PA support. In the first place, applicants should be confident with good communication skills. With this as a starting point, tpm will help you develop the skills you need to perform your job well.

To emphasise, an apprenticeship is a great way to start earning and get on the career ladder. It includes professional training so the candidate completes the programme with a level 2 qualification in business administration and strong office skills.

Duties

  • Primarily a range of general administrative duties
  • Dealing with internal and external enquiries via telephone and e-mail
  • Greeting customers
  • Supporting a safe and healthy workplace
  • Photocopying, filing and other office duties

 

Qualification acquired through apprenticeship

  • Level 2 NVQ in Business and Administration Framework
  • Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT. Specifically where the candidate doesn’t have GCSE at grades A-C (9-4) or the equivalent

  • Enthusiastic and willing to commit to learning and develop your skills
  • Of course, excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Importantly, the ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Confident with good communication and people skills
  • Good ICT skills
  • Friendly personality with positive attitude
  • Smart with good personal hygiene

 

Progression prospects

Once completing your apprenticeship, if you have made a good impression and worked hard, there is every chance this employer will keep you on in a permanent role. So depending on your career aims, you then have the possibility of progressing onto a level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business Administration and then start specialising in a particular sector of business.

 

Support

Throughout your apprenticeship you will have ongoing support from your personal tutor at tpm to help you achieve your personal and workplace skills and qualifications.

 

Hours

Monday-Friday 9am to 5.30pm (37.5 hrs)
