A bit about me
I was a late starter in the childcare sector and achieved my NNEB when I had young children of my own. This gave me experience in nurseries, mainstream and SEN school environments, working with a wide range of age and abilities. Later I achieved the SEN award and assessor’s award. I continually update my knowledge and skills as changes to the childcare sector are introduced, helping me to provide effective support to young and mature learners alike.

My teaching style
I aim to pinpoint each learner’s needs. Some learners aren’t sure what their own needs are so I help identify them by working with the learners individually. Everyone is unique with their own learning style, whether they have additional learning needs or not. My motivation is to help young and mature learners build self-confidence.

Interests
My interests are reading, sci-fi, fantasy and Armageddon are particular favourites, antique/vintage costume jewellery, holidays with family and dog, dancing.
