We have an exciting new apprenticeship available with Mottram Associates based in Birkenhead, a professional lift services consultancy, providing installation, management, servicing and testing of lifts.

This is a role for someone to provide administrative support in this busy and friendly organisation. Applicants should be enthusiastic and confident with a good general education.

This position includes professional on-the-job tuition, so you will develop the skills needed to perform well in your job. You will also undertake a level 3 business administration apprenticeship training provided by tpm, who will also help you prepare for your interview.


  • A range of general administrative duties
  • Receiving and actioning emails, chasing for updates and responses
  • Answering inbound telephone calls, taking messages and transferring calls
  • Auditing and inputting of contractor invoices and worksheets onto in-house database
  • Inputting of insurance reports and items onto in-house database
  • Extracting data from in-house systems, formatting Excel sheets and sending to client’s and contractors
  • Investigating missing information/data and rectifying/escalating
  • Formatting reports and audits in Word

  • Good at listening to instructions and carrying them out correctly
  • Confidence to carry out all duties once taught
  • Good at using initiative
  • Able to perform all tasks correctly and on time
  • Punctual, professional and polite
  • GCSE at A-C in Maths and English or equivalent

  • Experience of administrative or office work
  • A desire to learn and acquire new skills

Progression prospects

Successful recruits who prove themselves in their job role and complete their apprenticeship may be able to continue their training on a higher-level apprenticeship.


Throughout your apprenticeship, you will have ongoing support from your personal tutor at tpm to help you achieve your qualifications. In addition, they will provide additional support for developing your personal and workplace skills.
