tpm is recruiting for two new apprenticeship vacancies at Resman in Mossley Hill. Resman is an innovative and experienced IT company with a track record of providing outstanding technology services to clients across the UK.

Resman is looking for two hard-working individuals who are quick and eager to learn. Applicants should be able to follow instructions carefully and have a polite, friendly nature. You will work as part of a team. Both positions are customer service roles, with one also providing some tech support and the other providing some administration support.

These are roles for individuals who want to work in an office with a friendly team of professionals. Applicants should be confident with good communication skills.

The apprenticeship includes professional training, so you will develop the administrative skills needed to perform well in your job. Your training will be provided by tpm, who will also help you prepare for interview.

Duties

• Answering incoming calls
• Providing customer service support
• Making outgoing calls to current clients to chase up outstanding paperwork/information.
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
• Assist with either tech support or general admin support

Qualification acquired through apprenticeship

• Level 2 Standard in Customer Service
• Functional Skills Maths and English; where a candidate doesn’t have GCSE at grades A-C (9-4) or the equivalent

Applicant: essential personal qualities

• Good work ethic
• Good at listening to instructions and carrying them out correctly
• Confidence to carry out all duties once taught
• Good at using initiative
• Able to perform all duties correctly and on time
• Punctual, professional and polite

Applicant: desirable personal qualities

• GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent in Maths and English
• Experience in a working environment (office work preferable but not essential)
• Experience dealing with the public, whether by phone or in-person

Progression prospects

Successful recruits who prove themselves in their job role and complete their apprenticeship may be able to continue their training on a higher level apprenticeship.

Hours

Monday-Friday 9-5pm (35 hours)

From £168.35 per week
