The Dyslexia Foundation

We have an exciting new apprenticeship available with The Dyslexia Foundation based at the Albert Dock in Liverpool, a leading agency providing support to individuals with dyslexia.


This is a role for someone to provide administrative support in this busy and friendly organisation. Applicants should be enthusiastic and confident with a good general education.


This position includes professional on-the-job tuition, so you will develop the skills needed to perform well in your job. You will also undertake a level 3 business administration apprenticeship training provided by tpm, who will also help you prepare for your interview.



  • A range of general administrative duties
  • Invoicing and financial administration
  • Data inputting, scanning, creating documents
  • Social media account management
  • Contributing to podcast production

Applicant: essential personal qualities

  • Motivated with a good work ethic
  • Good at listening to instructions and carrying them out correctly
  • Confidence to carry out all duties once taught
  • Good at using initiative
  • Able to perform all tasks correctly and on time
  • Punctual, professional and polite
  • GCSE at A-C in Maths and English or equivalent

  • An interest in working in the voluntary sector
  • A desire to learn and acquire new skills
  • Keen to support adults with dyslexia


Progression prospects

Successful recruits who prove themselves in their job role and complete their apprenticeship may be able to continue their training on a higher-level apprenticeship.



Throughout your apprenticeship, you will have ongoing support from your personal tutor at tpm to help you achieve your qualifications. In addition, they will provide additional support for developing your personal and workplace skills.
